Day Walk
This tour is a guided walk along the Jaguar Trail in Tortuguero National Park. During the 2-hour hike, your guide will explain the local flora and fauna while you enjoy a magical walk through the rainforest. You will have the opportunity to observe different plant species such as beach almond trees and yolillo palms, as well as wildlife including monkeys, sloths, and a variety of birds.
The tour is conducted in small groups of up to 10 people per guide. To join this tour, guests must have a valid entrance ticket to Tortuguero National Park (Canals Sector), which can only be purchased online through the SINAC website.
What to wear: Hiking clothing and closed-toe shoes or boots.
What to bring: Water, insect repellent, sunscreen, camera, and a rain jacket.
Price: $20 per person (park entrance not included)
Canoe Tour
Our canoe tour is a paddling experience through the aquatic trails of the national park, in small groups of a maximum of 8 people. You will enjoy the peace and tranquility of the national park while searching for different species such as sloths, birds, monkeys, and more.
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. During the experience, our guide will share the history of the national park and provide interesting information about the wildlife encountered. A unique experience is guaranteed. We offer guides in both English and Spanish.
Guests joining this tour must purchase an entrance ticket to Tortuguero National Park, Canals Sector, which can only be bought online through the SINAC website.
What to wear: Light, comfortable clothing and sandals.
What to bring: Sunscreen, water, insect repellent, rain jacket, camera, and a waterproof bag in case of rain.
Price: $25 per person (park entrance fee not included).




Turtle Tour
The turtle tour in Tortuguero National Park takes place from July to October. This truly magical experience allows you to witness a marine species outside its natural habitat and from a very close distance.
The tour is conducted at night. The use of flashlights is strictly prohibited; only the guide is allowed to use a red light to observe the turtle. Photography and video recording are not permitted, making the experience even more special, as it supports the conservation of this beautiful species and encourages you to fully focus on and cherish this unforgettable moment.
There are two possible time slots: 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. The national park is responsible for assigning the schedule to the guide. Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 people, and the tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
What to wear: Dark clothing and closed-toe shoes.
What to bring: Water.
Price: $38 per person
Night Walk
The night tour begins in the village, as the trail crosses through the town. This is a very interesting and engaging experience, starting with an explanation by the guide about the old machinery displayed around the village. Once on the trail, you will put your observation skills to the test by helping the guide spot animals hidden in the vegetation, making the tour dynamic and fun.
During the night walk, you may encounter species such as frogs, snakes, insects, sleeping birds, and some mammals, all in their natural habitat. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and is conducted in small groups of up to 10 people per guide. Tours are available in English and Spanish.
What to wear: Light clothing, long pants, closed-toe shoes or boots.
What to bring: Flashlight, water, insect repellent, and a rain jacket.
Price: $22 per person




Tortuguero Hill
Tortuguero hill is an active tour that will put your physical condition to the test. To reach the summit, you will climb approximately 412 steps to an elevation of 119 meters (390 feet). The reward is a set of spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding landscape.
Tortuguero hill is an inactive volcano, covered in lush vegetation and home to a wide variety of wildlife. To take part in this tour, you will travel by water taxi to the nearby community of San Francisco and purchase the Cerro Tortuguero National Park entrance ticket online through the SINAC website.
What to wear: Hiking clothes and closed-toe shoes.
What to bring: Water, insect repellent, camera, and a rain jacket.
Price: $35 per person (park entrance fee not included)
Kayak Tour
The kayak tour takes place inside Tortuguero National Park using single or double kayaks. It’s the perfect experience to test your paddling skills as you navigate on your own. This fun and adventurous tour allows you, together with our guide, to explore the park’s narrow canals, getting up close to the incredible wildlife and natural beauty this unique place has to offer.
The tour lasts approximately 3 hours. Please note that the Tortuguero National Park entrance ticket must be purchased online through the SINAC website.
What to wear: Lightweight, comfortable clothing and sandals.
What to bring: Water and a waterproof bag to protect your camera or phone.
